Respecto a modelos inferiores, tiene una serie de funcionalidades adicionales como el soporte de hasta 4000 conexiones VPN punto a punto contra otro equipo Peplink con soporte de VPN, QoS para VoIP y comercios online, posibilidad de trabajar en backup 1+1 con otro equipo peplink, y unos algoritmos para realizar los balanceos de carga más optimizados y con otros criterios que los modelos inferiores.
El throughput es la suma total del tráfico entrante y saliente, por ejemplo si se tienen dos ADSL de 6Mbps de bajada y 1Mbps de subida en total se necesitan 6+6+1+1=14Mbps. SI se tienen ADSL superiores se requiere un modelo de Peplink superior.
